Meet The Therapist
Michelle
Michelle is a Board Certified Physical Therapist in California, specializing in performance rehabilitation. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine, and later completed a Multiple Subjects Credential in teaching, spending three years teaching elementary school. However, she realized that her true calling was in healing and returned to school, graduating from California State Long Beach with a Masters in Physical Therapy. After a year of working in a private practice, she pursued further education and completed an Orthopedic Residency Program with Kaiser Permanente. With over 13 years of experience in physical therapy, she also holds several holistic practice certifications, including as a Reiki Facilitator, Soul Memory Facilitator, and a certified Emotion/Body Code Practitioner.
Michelle excels at seeing the “Big Picture” in sports rehab, often emphasizing movement re-training to decrease pain and prevent future issues after a sport injury. She believes it is crucial to educate individuals about the movement patterns they use in daily life that contribute to their impairments and pain.

Program Description: This messaging program sends appointment confirmation and reminder messages to customers who have booked an appointment with Murphys Physical Therapy through our website at https://murphyspt.com, or via our scheduling forms, and have explicitly opted in to receive SMS notifications. Opt-in is collected via web forms with a dedicated checkbox for SMS consent. Messages include scheduling confirmations, appointment reminders, rescheduling updates, and customer support communications.
2. Cancellation Instructions: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text “STOP” to the same number that sent you messages. Upon sending “STOP,” we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.
